Characteristics uploading error thru LSMW

Hi,

while uploading characteristics file thru lsmw system showing me following error

*File name '' is not permitted; a permissible file name is '/tmp/ZPM_CHAR.lsmw.conv'.*

early reply will be highly appreciable.

If the T-Code of characteristic which you want to create is CT04, try to use LSMW-BAPI

Object: BUS1088

Method: Create

You need to activate IDoc inbound processing to use the LSMW-BAPI

can you please be specific, as which methord you are using and in which Step you are getting the problem?

Hi Yawar,

I am using Standard Batch/Direct Input method and I am getting problem at 13 no step which is create batch input session.

In standard batch/ direct input method I am using following values.

Object: 0150 Characteristic

Method: 0000

Program Name: RCCTBI01

Program Type: B Batch Input

Can I send screen shot to you?

Hi Mahaveer,

Just send the Screen Shots, what have you maintained in for saving the Errors, I mean the file name and Which Server? It should be in the presentation Layer.

and the above Option should whiere the source is uploade is in the application Layer.

and one more thing at the time of defining the projects, the disceriotion of Project, Sub Project and obsject should not be more the 40 Character all together.
