Hi Experts,

I have a couple of questions on contracts.

A contract has been created in VA41.

Can I only make sales orders towards that contract containing the material specified in the contract? Or can I somehow add a general line item towards which I can make sales order for example for consumables or services of more ad-hoc nature?

Also I cannot find handling of lead times anywhere in the VA41 transaction. Can this be handled on contract level, or is this instead handled in the info records or sales orders?

It depends on your copy control and item category assignment. Normally, system will allow you to maintain only the data in sale order whichever is there in preceding document when refer that.
