Cancel TO generated from Posting Change Notice

As per standard SAP,

You cannot cancel transfer orders created from posting change notices.

Anyone has any idea on the reason? Is it technically difficult to be realized?

Hi ,

For deliveries , you can use LT0G for confirmed TOs with mvt type 999 but provision is not available for Posting Change.

We can use mvt type 999 & take the stock in required storage type but there wont be any associated IM document.

Posting change is nothing but we are moving stock from one status to another say quality to Unrestricted.

If we wish to take the stock back again in quality , we need to post IM document that will again have PCN associated.

And the TO created would be termed as knock-off TO for earlier posting.

Hi,

If you not confirmed the Transfer order you can cancel the Transfer order document otherwise you cannot cancel

the confirmed transfer order. Because the once stock is moved to destination Storage type, system doesnt know the return

storage type.
