Hi, guys,
I'm trying to figure out what the difference would be for tcode "mc+Y" and tcode va05n with ZRE order type.
By compasion, I found out SO return report from "mc+y" will have more values and return items than va05n with ZRE order type given same filtering period.
Shouldn't they return the same result? What caused the difference?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Wen

VA05N will show the header data and hence, you cannot compare with material code. Of course, the value should match. Nevertheless, have a look at the following notes which may help you:-
1) Note 1597097 - Incorrect data in info structures or standard analyses
2) Note 1600533 - Error analysis for incorrect data in information structures

Thanks for trying to help. However, after comparison, I found out the return value from "mc+y" includes document values from at least "ZRE and ZCR" order type. There are still some differences I couldn't figure out.
Is it because the configuration setting for "mc+y" report which order types to include?
Hello
From what i understand, in VA05N you might not be able to view the items, while MC+Y allows you to view the items too.
MC+Y also allows you to use the drilldown functionality on the report.
