Lane not found error in XML

Hello Experts,

we recently upgraded system SNC 7.0 and now have a problem with the transprtation lanes.

All the transportation lanes created by CIF replication contain lines of article with an End Date at the 31.12.9999 for scheduling agreements.

We have XML issues failed due to the error "Lane not found". I have checked the external relationship of the product and supplier and it is updated only for SA with validity period.

Purchase orders are failed due to the XML with error as " Lane not found" and difficult to identify in table /SAPAPO/TRPROD.

Could you please help me out how to resolve the issue as we are blocked due to this error.

Hi Sankar,

You need to activate the 7035 alert type.

Hi Nikhil,

Still we have the same issue for the Purchase orders which are failed due to Lane not found issue. With referece to previous suggestion, i have checked and everything is well and fine.

Could you please why it is only for particular supplier or location and with purchase orders.

Hi Gowri,

As per my suggestion If you have setup alert notification profile then user will be getting 7035 alerts as email which will provide for which location(plant) and supplier transportation lane is missing.

So without looking into each XML user will come to know about missing means of transport or transportation lane which he/she needs to maintained.

Hi,

Also check the valid from date in the Means of Transport maintained in the Transportation lane.It should be prior to the date of PO creation date.

Hi All,

Means of transportation date is maintained earlier than PO creation date. But still we have these kind of errors.

When we resend the PO from ECC it is updating fine. where exactly the issue causing.

Hi Gowri,

As you are getting "lane not found" error message these means that either product transportation lane is not maintained (contract/Scheduling agreement not CIF ) or valid means of transport is not maintained.

That's why 7035 alert will give you proper message.(see the validation message in a alert type 7035)

Hi Gowri,

As you said the system is recently upgraded to SNC 7.0. Have you also upgraded/implemented parallel system like ECC ? Are you facing an isuse for the cutover PO being sent to SNC ? If yes then note that

1.Standard CIF function do not create Means Of Transport : you need to enter manually means of transport

2.Check important dates in MOT valid from date,material valid from date in the transportation lane,PO creation date and Delivery date.

3.If delivery date is in the past,this is the case of cutover PO being sent to SNC,now for such cases you need to adjust the MOT valid from date prior to delivery date.

4.Once this is done,you can reprocess the failed messages.
