Hi,
How can i rename the group without losing the roles assigned to that group.

thanks for the reply. its an AD group and for some organizational reasons the DN is getting changed, I believe the change will wipe off the roles assigned to that group, hence is there any possibility?

Still not very clear ....
What is AD? I guess Active Directory.
And what is DN? Hm.... Domain Name perhaps?
Anyway, if my guesses are correct, this is not an SAP problem.
You might try a MS Windows forum.
Or contact the Windows admin next door perhaps.
