Hello Friends,
I am new to the SAP scene and i am very hungry to learn. Currently i am a windows administrator for my company but i want to shift my career towards SAP (Basis Administrator).
My manager has approved me to take classes with SAP. i am scheduled to take
1) SAPTEC NetWeaver application server Fundamentals
2) ADM100 Administration AS ABAP I
am i taking the right classes? which classes should i take ?
I was hoping someone can guide me, maybe send me links or PDFs that breaks down what an SAP basis administrator does or
Intro to Netweaver. I was hoping someone can recommended me a intro to SAP book which i might understand since i have no experience as an SAP basis administrator.
Thank you all

I was hoping someone can verify which classes i should take. The classes are really expensive so i want to make sure i am taking the right ones.
1) SAP NetWeaver Application server Fundamentals
2) AS ABAP Administration I
After these 2 classes should i take
AS ABAP Administration II OR AS Java 7.0 Administration
?
What about these classes
System Monitoring using CCMS
Intallation SAP ECC 6.0
AS Java 7.3 Administration
Workload Analysis AS Abap
Software logistics AS ABAP
Is it true ABAP will eventually go away?
Should i still take ABAP admin classes?
Which courses would you take from start to finish.
Thanks again everyone

You can take the classes if you have enough money or you can learn it Hands on doing your work (Like On job training)
Is it true ABAP will eventually go away? Should i still take ABAP admin classes?
No, To my knowledge, ABAP will be there as long as SAP
