Unit XXX is not created in language EN

Hi

While trying to create value category(OPI1) for SKF, I selected the UOM which is defined in lower case and the system is throwing error "Unit xxx is not created in language EN". I have checked the T006A table for language and it is maintained in English.

Any thoughts why? I could not find an applicable note. This is in system ECC 6.00 Release 5.

Thanks for the input.

As per SAP Note 789748, the lower cases(commercial UOM) are allowed as of SAP_Basis Release 7.0 and our system is already in that release.
