Milestone Billing

hello

my requirements

1) Invoice to be sent along with order confirmation to customer against which they will make downpayment (can i use Pro Froma for this and is pro froma legaly allowed)

2) my client wants to use milestone billing so that they recive payment in installment as the milestones are over but they dont want to send invoice for each milestone (any milestone as a single invoice is sent with full amount)

ie a single invoice to be sent to customer but for internal purpose they want to use milestone billing

they also want to generate excise invoie with it how can i do it ?

any help would be apprricated

Hi Naveen

For your first requirement,you can use proforma invoice as it is legally allowed

For your second requirement,you can send proforma invoice as single invoice to the customer

The problem is how do i combine all of them. If I add pro froma in milestone it takes total billing amount as 200%.

Hi Naveen

If you add Proforma invoice in milestone also it may show total amount as 200% but proforma invoice wont pass to accounting.so there should not be any problem.
