What is Characteristics combination & Combination value key? in TC:"MC(B"

My client wants to generate reports based on each character of variant material and when I am trying to use T Code MC(B it says "No data exists for chosen selection"

any help would be appreicated

sir thank you for reply and each variant is a raw material rite?

I am newb to it so please explain me how it work

as per my thinking

1) Raw material is created in system then

2) Raw Material is used to create semi finished material

3) Semi finished material is used to create finished material

4) finally finished material is sold

5) we can generate reports for the sale of raw material ? and

6) how can I see how many of different combination of material have been sold ?

Hi,

Characteristic combination is the parameter by which you need to combine your materials, e.g. petroleum products, appliances, etc.

Combination value key is further to filter among the petroleum products which you want to see the consolidated report.

You need to configure the infotype S138 through the sales information system. I dont know much about the SIS so cant help you in guiding to the steps of that config. Maybe if you check the the threads you might get an idea.
