epson LX-300+II with sap

Dear gurus,

I had setup epson LX-300+II with sap with following parameter

Device Type :EPESCP9 :EPSON ESC/ P 9PIN PRINTER

host spool Access method : G:Front End Print with Control Tech

Host Printer:_Default

there is a page format which is assign to EPSCEP9.

Print successful. but it will no print Table and box on the page...Please solve my Issue.....

HI,

BOX command does not work with EPESCP9. The ESC/P printer language cannot print boxes or tables.

Try printing via windows and a windows device type like SAPWIN or SWINCF.

My guess would be that the device type definition is missing the print controls that you need.

I don't know that particular printer type but try to look into the device type-dependent print controls defined in txn. SPAD and see if it contains the controls to draw a box etc. If not, then you will probably have to copy and enhance the print control set.

Hopefully you do have the detailed manual for the printer...
