MRD dates different from network dates

Hi All,

If I open a network ALL components have the same MRD date.

(Thats what we want. )

It doesnt matter to which network activity the material belongs.

AFTER rescheduling the network we found different mrd dates on the material.

Could be please suggest what is the reason for this situation .

Hi,

It belongs to which relationships among activities you are taking in your proj. Yes, you may assign dates manually but after scheduling the network the system automatically calculate dates for your N/W or Activities.

If you have a deadline in the project try to check/reassign activities relationships based on your required date and do the scheduling again.(keeping in mind the clear concept of activities relationships) .

Hi Ankur,

As per the current configuration in our system the MRD dates are picked up from the operation/activity dates and not

from the network start date. If the requirement is such that the MRD dates should be picked from the

network start dates so that all the materials have the same MRD date when a Network is opened the

configuration settings for the Network needs to be changed .

This can be done through the transaction OPU6 . Could you please confirm whether I am on the right direction .

based on the scheduling type and the relationship the dates will change if you schedule the network/project
