I hope you have different Division for Parts & Lubricant.

By Different sales area you can control this.

Use Tcode OVAZ or follow following path in SPRO:

IMG - SD - Sales - Sales Doc - Sales Doc Header - Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types

We only have one division only, currently all material for Parts & Lubricant is using one Sales order type.

my user want to split the ordering using 2 new order type.

can we using material group to control the order ?

HI

Try like this

Go to VOV8 and select the Order type , Under Transaction Flow tab maintain the another order type in the field Alt.Sales Document Type 1

At the time of creating the sale order give order type (For example Parts ) and execute.

After you enter the SP , SH and Material (suppose material is Lubricant ) then select the another order type

Check and Revert

can we using material group to control the order ?

Based on standard configuration not possible.

I would still recommend for different division. As both material are from diifferent line of business

For this

- No change material master

- No additional order type.

- New sale area related config.

- customer extended to new sales area.
