Hi,

One question regarding easy dms - is it possible to connect with easy dms to an SAP bw system. I always get the error: "Can't sent license info".

Thanks for your support.

BR,

Christoph

Hi Christoph,

honestly I think that this connection is not possible. Because EasyDMS needs the DMS BAPIs for its functions which are called by RFC. As I think there is no DMS functionality available on your BW system, EasyDMS wont be able to work correctly.

Christoph

Hey,

I have down this - created a ROLE RFC_ALL and added the object S_RFC. But when I wanted to add the object S_RFCALL I got the error, that this object is not available.

Hi Christoph,

Sorry for the wrong object name. You need to use following object name S_RFCACL in additiona to S_RFC.

Please try and let us know the result.

Hi Christoph,

Could you assign SAP_ALL profile to the user and then check the results.

Hi Christoph,

switch all the traces on, then logon - on error, open the trace files with notepad, there will be some dev_htp trc file also..check the error - it wil tell whats the issue is.

Hi Christoph,

It looks like an authorization issue. Could you check the results with transaction code Su53 to check for missing authorizations.

I checked the transaction code su53, but there was no missing authorization I think...

Yes - ok ...

There is a authentication failed. But why - username and password are correct...

Hi Christoph,

Please add following authorization objects to the user and check again

S_RFC

S_RFCALL.

In my SAP there is no profile S_RFC or S_RFCALL ...

I checked this in the transaction SU01.

Thanks!

Hi Christoph,

You need create a role and add those authorization objects in that role. OR

You can modify the existing roles the user has and add these authorization objects within that.

You can check the roles attached in Su01-> Roles tab.
