Regarding Field legth in SAP XI

Hi Guys,

where do we need to specify the Field length in SAP XI.

Hi,

Here, now... the only "<i>Field lenght</i>" that I see is inside a Sender Communication Channel (Integration Directory) by using a FILE adapter, in order to define the structure of an inbound CSV file, for instance.

But could you please be a little more precise in what you want?

Here i need from idoc i getting Field size 20

I But in my sql server the field size is 10.

But i am faceing a problem for field value in XI.

Can you please tell us where should i need to define field size in xi.to 10.
