Add approvers using - "Add Approvers" button - Manually

Hi All,

We want to add the approvers manually using the "Add Approvers" button in Rfx.

What are the steps we need to configure / setup ?

We are on SRM7.01 ehp1.

HI,

Also make sure the users you adding has the manager role and he exists in the organisation strucutre.

Hi,

There is no need of any config.It is a standard feature of SAP SRM.

After creating the Rfx and Click on check button ,you get an message , Rfx does not contain errors and it can be published

.Go to the Approval preview tab ,there will be a button click the button you will get the approvers list .add them

Hi,

You need to configure a schema to RFX otherwise it will not work.

But note that if you use the standard BC set for automatic approval the add approval option will not work.

Thus please create your onw automatic approval schema if is the case.

Can you pls let me know the values for the below to create process schema::

Level Type

Evaluation ID

Resp. Resolver Name

Resp. Resolver Parameter

Task ID

Decision Type

Adding to above, And if any other steps to be followed.

Hi Ashwin,

Using standard BC sets for automatic approval, system does not create at all a business

workflow . However, if an ad hoc approver is required, a business workflow is required to cater for the process

step. Please use a workaround by creating an own process schema for automatic approval if you want to

allow ad hoc approvers on this case.

An example would be:

Object Type BUS2200

Process Schema ZRFX_SCHEMA

Level Type

Evaluation ID 0EV999 Check N

Resp. Resolver Name

Resp. Resolver Parameter

Task ID 40007988 Automatic Approval

Decision Type 1
