why the Defect types selected set don't work

hi

I have create the Defect types selected set in QS51 in plant level ,but when we create the inspection lot result in QE01,the defect maintain still appear the defect code group ,but not the selected set ,why? or how to display the defect type selected set?

hi,

You can not define selected set for Catalog type 9; Defect Types.

Please check once again in QS51.

you have created defect types using QS41. and while defect recording, system shows you the list of defects which you have created in QS41.

You will always get only Codegroups for Defects recording.

If your requirement is to have Pre-defined set of Defect codes for particular Notification type, then you can create Catalog profile, and assign it to Notification type you are using.

Check: QCC0>Notification Creation>Notification Content>Define Catalog profile.
