Error while updating rg1 in j1i5

Hi Experts,

I am updating rg1 for one of our plant with t.code J1I5 with classification RMA. Error coming- Maintain the chapter ID for material SPA000003331 J_1IMTCHID

Message no. 8I001

But this material is non-excisable..so i can nt maintain chaper id for it.

please suggest me...

I had given wrong date range.when i put right date range its working fine.

Hi, If it is not excisable, so why you want to maintain it in register?

Whether excisable or non-excisable if you want any material in register, you HAVE to maintain it in J1ID properly.

Have you maintained the Chapter ID for this Material in J1ID.

its a safty helmat not use in prod. only for worker. so how cld i maintain the chapter id as its non excisable material..

1.option :that will be warning message.ignore it by pressing enter.

2 option:even u can maintain that material in j1id and select material type as non cenvatable.

Its not warning message. even if i exclude the material and run the t.code it shows - List contain no data..

For 2nd option- user not giving the chapter id as according to him the material is nonexcisable material n why we need to maintain chapter id.

My query is why it occur ?

Hi,

1)The standard is the message is a warning and not error. So if it is giving a red error message then please check the customisation under IMG-> Tax on Goods Movement>India> Tools--> Message control where you can maintain the message numbers as warning or error.

2) Is this material included in the Material document which has excisable materials in it. If so then the system might display the missing entries in J1ID. What are the input parameters that you are selecting while running the report.
