Hi,
We usually block the stock through MB1B 321/322 or 343/344 movements types. But we cant indicate warehouse number and storage type:
example: We have two units:
Material A
Batch: 1
Quantity 2
Storage type 010: 1 unit
Storage type 011: 1 unit
We need to block or put in quality control just 1 unit. We go to MIGO and we indicate:
Material: "A"
Bacth: 1
Quantity: 1
Movement type: 343.
But we can not indicate that we want to block just the unit on the 010 storage type or 011.
How can i do it? Through wich tcode?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards
Enzo
Hi Enzo,
For your requirment you may define custom Blocking reason & Block the storage type for Putaway Or for Removal or for both through LI06.
Without blocking reason also you can do so but reason will help to track & why the storage type is block will be known.
Thanks,
Mahesh

Hi
When you perform the MB1B in IM you shou;ld create a Posting Change Notice in WM (this is a setting you should maintain in OMLR) you will also create a negative and positve in interim st type 922
If you are blocking stock you will have a negative of unrestricted stock and a positive of blocked stock
You will find the Posting change notice in LU04 (you can set the system to call the WM transaction immediately also in OMLR)
You them create the TO for the PCN and specify from where you want to block the stock and the system will move the correct quantity of unrestrictede stock to 922 and move the stock in 922 to the bin where the unrestricted stock was and the process is cmp;lete (The TO will need to be confirmed and can be set to confirm automatically)
This will correct the stock
The system cannot 'assume' which bin you want to block the stock in and so you use the PCN, Just like a TR
I hope that this helps

Hi Enzo,
In addition to what Frenchy mentioned, there is another T.code LQ02 whicha can be used to do a posting change in WM and IM at one go. There are necessary configurations to be maintained in LE->WM->Interfaces->Inventory Management -> Define Posting Changes
You have to define a custom WM movement type for corresponding IM mvt type, eg. 943 for 343 and 944 for 344, etc and maintain this configuration accordingly. Once this config is maintained, T.code LQ02 can be used to specify the quant which has to be used for posting change directly in the selection screen. This is especially useful when the entire quant has to be blocked / unblocked.
The limitations with this T.code are that you can not specify a quantity here, the entire quantity of the quant will be considered for the posting change. To overcome this limitation, we used a dummy bin to move the specific qty to be blocked / unblocked and used this T.code for one of our client requirements. Also, there is no provision to mention a reason for movement in this transaction.
Hi,
Once you do the MIGO with the relevant movement type, Material Document is generated.
Use TCode LT06 to create Transfer Order for the Material Document.
There, you can specify the bins from where u want your material to be moved.

Ankur

When you move the stock to Blocked inventory level then the stock also WM level in blocked location. This you can see in LS26 and it will have 'S' indicator and same thing applicable for 'Q ' also.

Thanks Sridhar.
But, we want to chose wich stock we are going to move. In the example that I send, after save the movement I not have the certain that the stock we will block is the one in the 010 or 011 storage type because I cant indicate in MB1B.
That is the question..
Thanks again
Regards
Enzo.
