IDOC to IDOC scenario on AAE

Hi Guys,

I am working on PI 7.3 consisting of only the Java stack and no ABAP stack. So it has the Avance Adapter Engine and there is no Integration Engine.

I have to develop a scenario consisting of IDOC communication and the flow is from SRM to ECC.

I have worked on similar scenario on XI 3.0 with Integration Engine. Please let me know if similar configuration is needed here also i.e Partner Profile, IDOC metadata, RFC Destination etc.

From ECC point of view, this scenario using Java stack of PI 7.3 is identical to what you've done so far. The difference is in PI configuration. Since you only have Java stack, you have to go for ICO (AAE) and use the IDoc_AAE adapter.
