Set fields not ready for input

Hi all ,

I need to achive that some of the fields in sales order items are not ready for input in SOME case,Example reason for rejection.

How to achive this?Which would be the right exit to use for this situation?

Hi ,

well ,SHD0 is ok but here I can not set rules for different business cases...I need that when whole quantity of order/Contract is consumed,i dont allow input for reason of rejection field.
