Hello Experts,
We recently carried out online reorg on one of the fragmented tables. The analysis of that table showed that it should release at least 5GB of space after reorg. The original table size was ~27GB. However, after the reorg it is ~28GB. This seems very unusual. If the fragmentation is removed how can the table size increase??
The reorg took around 40min and we did it in quite time. So there is no possibility of new data being added to the table during the reorg process.
The system environment is Hp Ux, Oracle 10.2.0.4
Best Regards,
Anup
