How to autogenerate alphumeric interval raypesnges for doc types

Guyz,

Is it possible in billing types to specify an aphanumeric interval range which the system autogenerates,such as A00001,A000002.

Practically ,When I specify an internal alphanumeric range,the system throwed an error during the billing document creation.

I want to cater this without abap.Any solutions?

Hi,

It is not possible to assign external number range to billing type in Standard.

You have to take the help of ABAPER
