Factoring for absences using PCR?

Hi, I'm new to SAP and to forums so apologies if this isn't the correct way to post. I'm trying to create a personnel calculation rule (PCR) to calculate factoring for absences and am confused. I'm using a copy of schema G000 and subschema GAL0 and placing the PCR inside of GAL0 copy.

I want the PCR to be able to calulate the gross pay for all hired employees (using factors) no matter if they are employed on the first of the month or the middle of the month.

Anyone have any ideas of the best way to acomplish this?
