Hi,
While using Proxy (Server Proxy)
File->XI->R/3
we will use XI Adapter as Receiver, what is the reason behind to use XI Adapter?
Becoz, proxy means no need of Adapter..
thanks
Seshu

Hi,
Any application based on SAP WAS 6.20 and above can communicate with XI thru native XI SOAP-XML format using Proxies. When we go for proxy there is no need to a specifi adapters like File, JDBC etc. If there is no adapters how does the two systems communicate... there should be a communication channel for transfering messages. So there is a seprate adapter for just communicating with native XI format and that is none other then XI Adapter.
Hope this helps
Thanks,
Prakash
