Business Situation: Our Products are make-to-order and we're overall happy with it. Since we have thousands of line items every day I'm looking for a standard (or near standard) SAP solution.
The Problem: We sometimes have inventory for these products (e.g. from over production or returns).
--> how could the sales order recognize and consume this MTS inventory and only send the remaining quantity as MTO?
Since this gap creates dead inventory (and/or extra labor) we need to get it addressed.
