SolMan-HPQC - Defect Integration

Hi,

I am configuring steps involved in "Defect Integration" of SolMan 7.1 and HP QC 11.

I have already done with "Blueprint Integration" and it is working fine.

The configuration steps given in the reference guide is not matching with the "Solution Manager SPRO Steps".

There is a conflicting step as well.

For Example: Conflicting Step

As per Guide - Adapt Status Profile for Transaction Type SMIN

As per SPRO - Adapt Status Profile for Transaction Type SLFN

I can understand that I need to complete all the configuration steps as per "SPRO Steps".

However, do I need to complete the steps given in Guide which are missing in SPRO Steps?

For Example: Missing Steps in SolMan SPRO

a. Assign Web Service Configuration to External Test Tool

b. Define Extended Interface Mapping for Service Desk Customizing

Kindly suggest, what are required steps to complete the configuration?

Hello Veera...have you found any answers to your questions?  I am running into a similar issue.  I have the blueprint from Solution Manager to HPQC working fine, however, I cannot get the defect from HPQC to Solution Manager.  I too, have been through the SPRO steps and cannot seem to get it to work.  When I log into HPQC to map the fields, HPQC is not pulling in the relevant Solution Manager fields to complete the mapping.  I also do not have an option when I right click on a defect to send to SAP.

If you have any advice, please let me know.  Thank you.
