Hi,
How can we find an IDoc number from a message ID that we get in Runtime Workbench(RWB)?
When we click on ny message details in RWB,we get the message ID,but when I take this meesage ID in SXMB_MONI,I do not understand how to find the IDoc number.
Can you please tell me?
Thanks in advance

In the control record, there is a field DOCNUM.
Is the field containing the IDoc number?
yes
that is very simple by using t.c IDX5/SXMB_moni.
just open payload and have to check idoc number in control record value (EDI_DC40)

Just execute idx5 in ABAP stack of PI, type the message ID as a selection criterion (or find your message by processing date & time - so that you did not have to look in RWB) and execute. IDoc number & IDoc type are just columns of the ALV grid displayed, along with Message ID, Transaction ID and some others.

Hi,
Use transaction IDX5 in PI with your message ID found in RWB to get the IDoc number.
Hope you'll find this useful,
Greg

this is very basic question,
Open IDoc payload and EDI_DC40 segment stores control recor info and You will find IDoc numbr there.
