change equipment status in post goods isuue with out movement type

Hi,

in the post goods issue phase we are generating equipment number (serial number) to the material master in the delivery.

we are not using any movement type cause we are not maintaning any stock.

when we are creating the post goods issue the system dosent update the equipment status to ECUS in the equipment master.

do you know why it works like this?

The serial number status ECUS (At Customer) will get updated when you are doing a post good issue. But you are saying that you are performing a GI without movement type ???

Could you please explain it more clearly?
