Hi experts,

I am trying to do a demo using the Sybase Mobile Sales App 2.0, the latest iOS application that was released in 30 Nov 2011.

This involves a few critical portion such as:

- SUP 2.1 with SAP DOE Connector 2.1

- SAP CRM server

- SAP NW Mobile

- Mobile devices

I already have a SUP 2.1 installed up and running perfectly.

I need to download and install the SAP DOE Connector of version 2.1.

Currently, in Sybase Product Download Center, I can only download the version 2.0

Where can I obtain the installation media for the SAP DOE Connector of version 2.1 ?

I am following a blog at: [Link to Blog|http://blog.acorel.nl/2011/12/sybase-mobile-sales-20-requirements.html]

Kindly assist.

Thanks

Hi,

Sybase Mobile Sales 2.0 applicaiton is currently in ramp-up mode and is not generally available. I guess you need to sign-up a rampup document to get access to Sybase Mobiles Sales 2.0 application.

Try to get in touch with your Sybase contacts for getting access.

Best Regards,

Siva.

Hi Siva,

Thank you for the feedback.

Well I did make contact with Sybase, but they have not returned to me yet.

However, I was able to install the SAP DOE Connector 2.1 via an upgrade patch available at this [LINK|https://login.sybase.com/login/userLogin.do?referer=http%3A%2F%2Fdownloads.sybase.com%2Fswd%2Fbase.do%3Fclient%3Dsupport]

Upon succesfull login, I searched for the file EBF 19762: 2.1 ESD #1 - 64 Bit.

We can search by the EBF number.

I just unzip the downloaded zip file and ran the installer. In the command prompt while installing, it installs the SAP DOE Connector 2.1 and shows the progress too.

The version of my SUP before applying this patch was 2.1.0.236.

After installation, it changed to 2.1.1.285.

I can see the installed files for the DOE Connector and the respective new directories too now.

Perharps for those who are chasing time and do not have access to their 2.1 file in their Sybase account could use this step.

This method was actually highlighted by [Sergio Congia|http://forums.sdn.sap.com/profile.jspa?userID=4150339] in his response on SDN at [SDN-LINK|;

A thank you to you and him.
