Hi,

1.What are all the Roles and Responsibilities of Data Analyst In SAP BO?

2.Wheather Data Analyst role Same as BO Developer role?

3.If we get a postion of Data Analyst in Bank Domain ,is there any future in SAP BO?

Hi,

1. a data analyst is a business user who has an understanding of the data model & it's relationships, and analyses data for the purpose of business intelligence.

2. a BO developer is a technician who develops reporting content for publication to the wider enterprise, for consumption by end users.

3. a data analyst in the Banking sector would analyze risk, margins, forecasts etc . some of their operational reports might use the BusinessObjects platform and its tools, but is not limited jsut to BO. for example, they may have some in-house banking systems and legacy sources on which they would analyse 'outside' of BO.

One is not a precursor for the other, but there may be some overlap.

Business intelligence is not aligned to Line of business or market sector - it is a holistic process which is an umbrella covering all.

Wheather both(BO Analyst and Data Analyst) play the same role?
