Delete Idocs not processed

Hi, I know there are some Reports to execute which will delete Idocs. We have some Idocs that have status 51, and want to delete them.

Any ideas?

Hello Rune,

In my opinion Idocs are not deleted directly. They need to be archived first and then those archived idocs are deleted.

You can use transaction SARA for archving and deleting the idocs.

Alternatively you can use report RSEXARCA to archive the idocs and then use RSEXARCD to delete them.

 - EDI_DOCUMENT_DELETE
 - CATT_IDOC_DELETE

i just did a search and this came up - http://www.sap-img.com/basis/delete-remove-of-idocs-from-r3.htm

this turned out to be a nice read it says "There is no special deletion program for IDocs" but still there are alternatives. Have a look !!!
