Installing SAP CRM 7.0 EHP2

Hi

Have anybody installed SAP CRM 7.0 EHP2? I wonder why the installation guide tells this:

The installation processes are described in detail in the SAP NetWeaver server installation guides

(ABAP or Java):

■ Installation Guide - SAP Systems Based on the Application Server ABAP of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Including EHP

3 on <OS>: <DB>

■ Installation Guide - SAP Systems Based on the Application Server Java of SAP NetWeaver 7.3 on <OS>: <DB>

This means that for ABAP CRM 7.0 EHP2 is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Including EHP 3 and for JAVA Server is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.3. Is this right, SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Including EHP 3 is the same as SAP NetWeaver 7.3?

CRM 7.0 EHP2 is based on Netweaver version EHP3. It means all netweaver components will be on 731 release. And Java system will be based upon Netweaver 7.3. You can check details from SAP note 837413.

The media of CRM 7.0 EHP2 is available? , I know that was released on Novembre 2011, but in marketplace I can not find the media.

Hi,

EHP2 for CRM is in ramp-up now, date for GA is unknown yet. Please check PAM for more info.

This list is not comprehensive, so some more 7.02 software components might be included in EHP3. So I don't think that "all netweaver components will be on 731 release". At least not for the time being...

About SAP netweaver 7.3, I have read that is for java hubs, for Java Instances for example BI, etc

This is no the same as SAP Netweaver 7.0? Because in this release you can install usage type such as BI, PI, etc. Many instance in one system.

Or what is the main diference? For CRM 7.0 Ehp2 Java server can be installed in SAP netweaver 7.3, or SAP Netweaver 7.0 ehp2.
