Hello gurus
I have a problem with autorizathion in cproject.
I have created a role with access to Project type : EXXXX and assigned to user A.
The user A can create only Projects with project type Exxxx (PJE001) , but If with another user B the project type was changed from
MXXXXX, into EXXXXX ( status Created..) in the project for example (PJM001) the user A cannot enter in project PJM001 that now it has the project type = EXXXX!!!
The system raises an authorization error to display the project!
Beside, the user A in the dashboard can see all Pj also that belong to project type MXXXXX, then obviously He cannot enter that..
Could you help me?
In your opinion is standard behaviour?
Best regards
Vanessa
Hi Vanessa,
the authorization of a project type is not the same of the project.
If a user A has authorization of project type EXXXX and creates a project e.g PJE001. During the creation, the user get
the (adm.) authorization of the project PJE001, as he creates the project. See tab 'authorization' of the project PJE001.
If other user B creates a project PJM001, User A does not get the authorization of the project PJM001, change of the project type does not change any authorization of the project itself.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo
