Hi,
Since last shutdown & restart of our XI server, we get message in SLD_CHECK : "Connection to SLD does not work" (All worked fine before...).
I read all significants posts about this and didn't found anything to solve this problem.
Thanks a lot for your help
Etienne
Hi,
Did you check if your J2EE engine is up and running.
Also see in SM59 if SAPSLDAPI test connection is fine.
Thanks,
Prakash

Hi Prakash,
<i>Did you check if your J2EE engine is up and running.</i>
=> sorry but i'm beginner in XI. How to check it ?
<i>Also see in SM59 if SAPSLDAPI test connection is fine</i>
=> Doesn't work. But before restart, it was fine.
Note :
-we shutdown / restart XI for increasing memory (RZ10)
-all http://<server>:<port>; calls don't respond in IE ...
Thanks for help

Hi,
Are you able to get the XI start page with the transcation SXMB_IFR, if not the J2EE engine might be down.
If you are getting the start page then go to XI start page (sxmb_ifr) and goto SLD.
Once you get the SLD screen go to the Administratio in SLD and check if the SLD is running. You will see a button in the top called Start Server if it is stopped or Stop Server if the server is running. Also you will see the status : Running.
Thanks,
Prakash
Hi,
I tried SMICM (restart ICM, J2EE instance, J22 cluster)without success. All seems good (and green) in SMICM.
SXMB_IFR : all http://<server>:<port>; calls don't work (waiting and waiting in IE or "can't reach..." message).
Shutdown & Restart : we tried this morning without success....
Thanks for all

Hi Naveen,
It seemed to be a memory conflict beetween :
-Physical server P1 (4Go) and
-Memory parameters allocation to Logical Server XI LS1 runnig under P1(1 Go) and
-RZ10 Memory parameters allocation in my XI Abap stack instance running under LS1 (2,5 Go)
basic rule ! : P1 RAM > LS1 RAM > XI RAM...
And all is fine....
Best regards.
Etienne
