Changing UME database from Java to ABAP in NW 73

Dears,

I just installed a Nw 73 Java Only with all the UT availables (BPM, BPR, EP, BI Java,....).

During the setup I choosed as UME the J2EE database itself.

No one step of the basic configuraztion has been done till now.

Now there is the requirement to change the UME database for this instance, as it has to be an external ABAP database already existent.

In your experience it's more easy and stable to redo the installation of the J2EE instance using the ABAP database as UME, or instead to try to change the UME database on the existent J2EE instance ??

regards

Hi,

You need not to install the system again for changing UME. Just change the UME of your As Java system to ABAP and make sure that SAPJSF user that you will use for communication should have all rights.

Thanks
