multiple propertysheets for the same node in offlineconfig editor

J2EE experts:

I see that in the offline configtool editor, for the same node there are several propertysheets, for example

one is under cluster data->server->cfg->service

another is under undeploying

What is the reason for the same propertysheet, there are more than one propertysheets there?

Hello,

1). cluster data->server->cfg->service-> Propertysheet element-info" - this is the local configuration of the first server in the instance and all os and java path parameters should be here with right values.

2). Undeploy-->propertySheet instance.properties --> which has the Global Configuration properties of the Instance .

HI Christina,

For config tool main property file is config.properties present in :\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGSnn\j2ee\configtool, if there are duplicate file with same name/description available at other location you may rename it to be on safer side and start configtool.bat to see if its working fine.

I believe some one may have made multiple copies in different directory.Though there are other property files in different folders for other purpose such as instance.properties and so on.
