Quality Operation in Production

Dear all,

Is it mandatory to put last operation as quality operation in production order.

when it is required to put quality operation in production order.

hi,

If it is in-process prodn, than assign QM (03) in last operation or phase and lot will be there in quality as u save ur PP order. no need to put quality at each and every operation or phase.

If it is PP order direct release and confirmation then there is no issue at all , it is std. process and assignment .

Dear Nidhi,

It is Not mandatory.

What i think is, Your quality Person perform an Inspection after All PP Operations are finished. And somebody is suggesting you to add Quality inspection as an Operation after PP's operations.

It is not Mandatory,

Just activate 04 inspection type in QM material Master, so that you will get an Inspection lot after Confirmation of Order that means after confirming All PP operations.

If This is not the Case, please Explain your scenario in Detail.
