GRC 10 - Risk Analysis in legacy system

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with legacy connectors in GRC 10. I implemented the note 1594963. So, I created the legacy files and storage it in GRC server.

When I run the user synch, the legacy connector only synch the first record.

Someone can help me? Someone did implement a risk analysis for legacy systems?

What's your SP level? there's a problem with lowercase user ID's... also check tx. SLG1, maybe you can find more details about the issue.

I'd check the file again. Remember, the enconding is important. Check also note: Note 1624124 - AC 10.0 - Download Programs for Legacy Risk Analysis

Hi Diego,

Thanks for the help. The problem was the encoding. It must be UTF8. The notepad saves the file as UTF-8 - BOM.

Hi Friends,

I'm configuring these files to integrate legacy with GRC 10.0, but I have a difficulty with LEGACY_ACTIONS file, follow the steps, respect the spaces this file, but I do not load the data from the file legacy to the GRC.

¿What is the way to load the file LEGACY_ACTIONS a GRC?.

Can you share some inputs on the Legacy Risk Analysis.

We have configured the Legacy Connector as per the note 1594963 ; Placed the files on the server & tried running Synchronization Jobs. But the data is not getting uploaded to GRC10 .

We made sure that text files are in UTF-8 format

• Is it mandatory to load all the 11 files that are provided in the note 1594963? We have excluded the Profile related files
• Can you share a sample of Legacy file formats that you have used for the sync.

Can you throw some light on what could be the possible issues for data not getting uplaoded to GRC10?

Hi Pavan,

When I made a legacy connector, I did not make the 11 files. I did not load the profile related files.

Please, review the files that you put in customizing (transaction FILE), because this names have to be equal to the files that storage in the GRC server.

I will search that files in my laptot tonight.

Along with the Profile related files , we have also omitted the DEFAULT_PERMISSION file.

Is this mandatory?

In Transaction FILE , we made sure that physical file name is configured correctly.

But we have a doubt with respect to the Physical File Path

Say the GRC10 server is DG-HYCR ; Installed on Windows NT ; and the files are placed on

C:/LEGACY/ARA   folder

so , Would the below configuration be correct ????:

• //DG-HYCR/C:/LEGACY/ARA/<FILENAME>

we suppose there could be an issue with this format. can you please suggest

Hi Pavan, I put the name like this over unix:

/LEGACY/ARA/<FILENAME>

I think over windows will be:

C:/LEGACY/ARA/<FILENAME>

I put the following files in the GRC server:

LEGACY_PERMISSION

LEGACY_ACTIONS

LEGACY_ROLE

LEGACY_ROLE_ACTION

LEGACY_ROLE_PERMISSION

LEGACY_DEFAULT_USER

LEGACY_USER_ACTION

LEGACY_USER_PERMISSION

This has worked ,, I suppose the issue was with File Path format

But we have another issue : The job doesn't sync the first entry in each file , all the others are synced successfully
