Hi,
Based on some research I have done, it sounded like TDMS might have some limitation on what it can subset and scramble outside of the HR module. Can someone confirm if TDMS can subset and scramble data in FI (AR specifically), SD, and FSCD (SAP Insurance Collections and Disbursements)?
Thank you in advance.

With TDMS 3.0 scrambling is handled differently for HR and non HR modules. Basically, you need to use the workbench if you want to scramble non HR objects, whereas HR has in built scrambling rules (via an editor) that you can use out of the box.
With TDMS 4.0 scrambling is presented in a unified scrambling workbench that you can use for both HR and non HR. There are out of the box rules for HR, Vendors, materials etc and the workbench that lets you scramble for all migration scenarios supported by TDMS (ECC, SRM, CRM, HR etc) . Unless you are a ramp up customer you have to wait until Spring '12 for TDMS 4.0 to be generally available.
Thanks

Hi,
TDMS time slice (TDTIM) transfers these data in reduced form along with scrambling (scrambling has to be configured).
Also, TDMS BPL has a solution to transfer the data in FI, SD along with its data environment.
So, you get considerable amount of data in reduced form.
You can also scramble this data using the standard scrambling workbench of TDMS.
Either you can use TDMS 3.0 BPL (generally available) to transfer this data, or you can go for ramp-up project of TDMS 4.0, which has these solutions available.
TDMS 3.0 and TDMS 4.0 BPL also has a solution for Insurance (FS-CD) as part of standard delivery.
You can make use of these SAP delivered BPL objects and transfer your data to create a target system.
Thanks and Regards,
