Originals are not stored in the vault

Dear,

We are implementing SAP DMS using Vault to store documents. We are using a path from network that was customized in DC20 as prints attached.

When we upload an original to Vault, apparently SAP stores the original where I customize in vault. But, if I map the network path to display the original, it isn't there.

Accessing AL11, I see that SAP is store the originals in the directory "./".

Why is this occouring?

Best Regards,

Hi Deepak Kori,

I tried your suggestion but it doesn't work.

SAP still stores the original in the directory "./" in AL11.

Should I create a directory to route SAP to the network path where I want to store the originals?

Hi,

If the path "
manufs03\deptos\ane\" has full permission , document should be stored in this directory.

If this does not work, then create a folder in "./" and link it to your required network path.

Hi,

Sure.

I customize in DC20 for Vault:

For: "Define data carrier type "vault""

Data carr. type = Z1 (flagged in "Online" and "Vault")

For: "Define vault"

Data carr.name = ZCOF_SB

Data carr. type= Z1

Desprition = Test

Vault path =
manufs03\deptos\ane\ -> this is the network path.

For: "Define data carrier type "server, front end"

Type (data carr. type) = PC

Description = Frontend test

Path = c:\temp\

For: "Define mount ponts/logical drive"

Data carr. = Default/PC

Prefix for access path = c:\temp\

and

Data carr. = ZCOF_SB

Prefix for access path =
manufs03\deptos\ane\

I'm customizing without DVA configuration.

Hi,

Remove the below entries in the your configuration

For: "Define data carrier type "server, front end"

Path = c:\temp\

For: "Define mount ponts/logical drive"

Data carr. = Default/PC

Prefix for access path = c:\temp\

Then check the results.

Files should be available in your network share only.
