How to approve in maintenance optimizer for download.

Dear All,

I need to download support pack and other software like SAP JVM Switch tool 1.0 from service market place.

It is asking for approval, Could you please specify which tcode is needed for maintenance optimizer and step by step

solution to approve the software.

Hi,

There's a trick to approve packaged without calling MOPZ.

Go to SE37 -> /TMWFLOW/MO_UI_BASKET_AUTHORIZ -> Process -> SAP-OSS -> Execute.

Hi there,

Two bits of information about this:

- you need to have an S user with authorization to approve the basket, and a SAP-OSS RFC in good working order

- You need to fill up the download basket from the SAP Service Marketplace first.

An alternative to approve the download basket without Maintenance Optimizer is to create a support message under component SV-SMG-MAI-APR.

If your question is on "how to setup MOPZ", easiest way is just complete system preparation and basic setup via SOLMAN_SETUP. Your MOPZ is ready after that. Just ensure the S-User you used to select the download is bind to your solman login ID in aisuser.

look for section Maintenance optimizer - Screens , where step by step screen shots are provided to approve packages.

You need to go to Tcode DSWP --> go to correct/active solution --> Change management --> Maintenance optimizer

Make sure that the SAP user id you are trying to access have S user id linked , check Tcode AISUSER
