CLM/ESO : Not able to pick files from FTP server

Hi Folks,

We are configuring E-Sourcing/CLM 7.0 and facing the issue while receiving the files from FTP server. We have scheduled a job for Master Data Import Monitor (as per the Config Guide) but every time scheduled job runs it throws an alert/error that the upload directory doest not exist.

We have tried pinging the FTP server and its responding and we are able to reach the required outbound folder.

We have checked all other setting which are mentioned in the Configuration Guide.

Please help in this regard.

Hi,

We had a similar issue once. Few things to check are:

1. In the Advanced Configuration Properties, check the folder paths are mentioned correctly or not. (You may have done this already)

2. Do you have 2 app servers installed for E-Sourcing? Then in that case, the file path in step 1 above needs to be pointed to the correct server where the file needs to be placed or picked up from.

3. FOLDER PERMISSIONS ISSUE: This is most likely why the files are not getting picked up. You need to ensure that the folder has the appropriate Read / Write Permissions to the Service User ID in order to process the files. Generally it is SAPService<SID>.

Please let me know if the above also do not solve your problem.
