Hi,
We are upgrading our ECC6.0(Netweaver7.0) to EHP4. We have EP7 and GRC(5.2). We are using EP for ESS/MSS.
Along with this we are upgrading our Database from SQLServer 2005 to SQLServer 2008 and Operating system from WIN2003 to WIN2008.
I am looking to find below information.
If I move to EHP4 at what level I need to take my EP(from ESS/MSS point of view)
At What level I need to take GRC, will it support current GRC5.2.
Second, I am checking in PAM for database and OS support. But bit confused to check in which tab(.eg, central application, EP common etc),
I was looking for what minimum database level and OS level is required.
Could some of you guide me on where to look for exactly.
Thanks in advance.
Hello ,
1). If I move to EHP4 at what level I need to take my EP(from ESS/MSS point of view)
For ECC EHP4, its better to be on EP EHP1 refer to below SAP Recommendation in the link
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/ECC6.0EhP4andPortal+7.00-7.01
For ESS and MSS (Refer to below link in the Section ERP 6.0 EHP 4)
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/DownloadinganddeployESSand+MSS
GRC 5.2
Since, GRC 5.2 is in Extended Maintenance in PAM, I would suggest to go GRC 5.3 (refer to below link)
2). Second, I am checking in PAM for database and OS support. But bit confused to check in which tab(.eg, central application, EP common etc),
I was looking for what minimum database level and OS level is required.
In PAM--> You should check in Database Platform --> For ECC EHP4 -->
Hope you are in 64 Bit and UniCode, here is the list (If not in Unicode and 64 bit, please check in PAM )
