How to allocate cost in activity type?

Hi Gurus,

I have created a work centre and attached a Activity type in this.But while using the Activity type in PM order cost is not coming.Pls let me know how and where i need to maintain the activity price rate???

Greetings Baiju,

You use the transaction KP26 to input (plan) an Activity price for a combination of Cost Centre/Activity type/Period

Ya fine..But i have maintained both cost Fixed and varriable ,still no cost appearing in maintenance order when putting the operation hours..Pls let me know if i am doing any mistakes.

Hi

Did you used any formula in work center, try using SAP0008 in costing tab and see the log in maintenance order for costing.

make sure that cost center/activity type should be on valid date.

Also Please check the settings.

>IMG->Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Maintenance and Service Processing->Basic Settings--->Settings for Display of Costs.

-->Cost element used in activity type should be mapped in value category settings.

-->Also check in OIOF t.code, assign costing parameters to order types.
