Hi,
Could you anyone throw light on below topics of SRM PPS, I am not able to find much in web.
Selective Promotion Process
Options contract
Options Purchase order
Records management.
Hi
some of the basic info about
Selective Release is a process that allows a Purchase Order to be u201Cpre-releasedu201D without
the funds posting. The Purchase Order goes through the SRM release process, but is
blocked until a decision is made to actually obligate the funds and release/order the
document.
Selective Release has been implemented for contracts with Guaranteed Minimum specified.
During the end of a Fiscal Year, public sector organizations sometimes require additional
restrictions on how government funds are spent. System configuration allows for these
restrictions to be set based on the organizationu2019s requirements.
Records Management replaces paper records with digital records
based on electronically stored documents.
A record is a collection of information concerning a specific business
context. The contents of the record are displayed in a defined record
structure.
Workflow-controlled processes are activated from within digital
records. SAP Records Management contains additional ad hoc
workflow functions.
Electronic operations (cases) support the processing of business
processes including processing notes for documenting the processing
steps.
Thanks & Regards
