SNP location heurisctic not planning for some products.

Hi All,

We have strange problem in our case, we are running SNP location heuristic for a product and it is not generating planned orders. I checked all the relevant master data. However it is generating for other products within the same location. I did run the consistency check and LLC determination and that did not help. Any suggestions would be of great help as this is a high priority issues for our project now.

Hi ,

Please check if there are any inconsistent planned orders in the past.

Sometimes there are inconsistent receipts present in livecache which heuristics considers as available receipt.

You can check this in /sapapo/mat1 using "where used" option from the header menu. Please check if there are any past dated orders in LC orders test. Delete those orders from live cache and then take a heuristics run.

Secondly also check procurement type,deletion flag,PTF,extended SNP horizons.

Also please check if SNP production horizon or extended production horizon are maintained for the products with issues.

Hello,

Please first check whether you have valid source of supply (SNP PPM or PDS) for the location/product.

The PPM or PDS's validity date should be valid for the period you want to create planned orders, and lot size must be suitable.

The function module /SAPAPO/SOS_FIND is responsible for looking for sources of supply. You can debug it if you want.

There're still some other possible reasons, but please just first check SOS.
