Kernel upgrade : cannot find AMD64

Hi,

I cannot find a kernel upgrade for Windows 2003 64Bit in the software downloads.

Status

Host Data Machine

Machine Type: 4X AMD64 L

OS : Windows NT

Componenet version SAP ECC 6.0

Please help.

Kernel can be downloaded directly from OSS link, apart from solution manager.

Hi Kevin,

Also check about if your system is unicode or non-unicode. Kernel packages are differant for those types.

Login to your ECC server and fire a command "Disp+work" from command prompt , it will give you all the information about your current kernel level (like 64 bit , unicode etc)

For Kernel version on AMD 64-bit, you need to look for type x86_64.

Download kernel files of type x86_64.
