CS15 Where used list

Hi All,

I am little bit confusing while going through the Tcode CS15 (Material Where used List). Can anybody tell me what exactly the report is for? And also in that What is Type of where Used list(Direct & Classes)?

And what is Define view in the Report?

CS15 report will tell you the given material wherever used in BoM. Based on your selection of BoMs (Equipment, FL BoM, etc), it will list the usage.

Direct means if you assign the material directly to that equipment or FL, then only that will be listed.

Class will be used when you are using variant BoMs.
