No DEVICE link in SCC of SUP 2.1

hi all,

we have installed SUP 2.1 and successfully loged in SCC with admin credentials but we are not able to see the DEVICE link for registering various devices. myself would like know whether AFARIA is made as mandatory or anything we are misiing on the installation part.

please guide us on this regards,

Hi,

Afaria is not a mandatory option,

First few steps towards registering device ,

Step1:Create Security Config in SCC (Security>>New>>Desired Secutiy on Logon Prefernce say Http Authentication for SSO logon)

Step2 . create application in SCC (Application>>New>> create application wiht gateway endpoint)

Ste3: Create User (Only for Manual Registration) (Application>>ApplicationConnection>>Register).

Hope this initial Administration task helps you to register your device

Hi,

You can register the device in SUP 2.1 by selecting "Apllications" and "Apllication connections" tab within it.
